Effective Downtime Management

Our dedicated in-house repair management team work proactively to reduce vehicle downtime once a repair has been deployed. This is achieved through an embedded exception management programme and dynamic task-based workflow engine, configured to optimise service delivery and drive down repair times.

We understand that vehicles being off the road is a huge inconvenience for fleet operators, as a result sopp+sopp provides an effective downtime management solution. We use the best available technology to deliver real-time visibility, service innovations that consider alternative repair methodologies, and dedicated teams to intensively manage repair times.

  • Our CMS is underpinned by a dynamic workflow management solution, which automates the required communication with repair partners and provides a real-time view of all stages of the repair journey.

This transparent visibility of all repair activity ensures that repairs progress as expected, and sopp+sopp can measure performance in granular detail. Communications with customers during the repair are automated too, which keeps customers fully informed via their chosen contact method and frequency.

  • sopp+sopp has dedicated teams in place to expedite repair progression and reduce vehicle downtime by intensively managing repair periods. Our repair management teams utilise our CMS to manage repairs by exception, maintaining a focus on key information, such as repair journey dates, that are required to progress a claim.

Our dedicated network management team, work in close collaboration with our network repairers, to manage and monitor performance against required service levels, as well as carrying out regular audits to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.

This approach enables our team to perform effective, proactive, exception-based repair management. Customer specific SLAs are embedded into our claims handling processes to support delivery of key performance, providing up to date and accurate information throughout the repair process.

  • Whilst some form of repair delays are inevitable across the automotive sector, at sopp+sopp we have developed effective solutions to mitigate their occurrence and reduce the impact. We work collaboratively between repair partners and our internal teams, embedding a proactive “problem-solving" approach when faced with a delay.

Through our MI platform, all instances of repair period delays are visible in real-time and efficiently managed by our network performance team. This provides a granular view of performance insights, identifying opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation. Furthermore, this allows us to benchmark best-in-class across all repair methods and partner solutions.

With established lines of engagement into our network and integration into the estimation and repair process, Activate Parts provide streamlined parts ordering, which means repair partners - if experiencing delays in sourcing elsewhere - can have parts within 24 hours, direct to their location. This helps reduce parts associated repair delays and, as a result, enhances the repair performance outcomes for our fleet customers.
